Pesaro is located on the Adriatic coast in central Italy. Thanks to its strategic location, it is easily accessible by car or public transportation.
By car:
Pesaro is located along the A14 motorway, which connects Bologna to Taranto. Whether you are coming from the north or south, you must exit at the Pesaro-Urbino toll booth. From the toll booth, the entrance to the city is well signposted.
By train:
Pesaro is connected to the Adriatic railway line. Pesaro railway station is located in the city center, a few steps from the sea. There are frequent trains to and from major Italian cities. For example, there are direct trains to Bologna, Ancona, or Milan.
By plane:
The nearest airport to Pesaro is Federico Fellini Airport in Rimini, which is about 30 km away. Raffaello Sanzio Airport in Ancona is about 60 km away. From Rimini and Ancona, you can take a train, bus, or rent a car to reach Pesaro.
Bologna, Milan, and Rome airports are also possible options for reaching Pesaro. There are direct trains to Pesaro from Bologna and Milan. From Rome, you can take a train to Ancona, and then another train to Pesaro.
